In order to keep your healthcare information secure, you must supply high-level proof of who you are in order to gain access to your personal information.

Setting up an NHS login account could involve any of the four options:

· Submit photo I.D. and a face scan

· Submit photo I.D. and a video

· Use registration details from your GP practice’s online services

· Use a fast-track I.D. check

The NHS login website will guide you through the process and can be easily completed on any device.

Remember, once your account has been created you can use the same e-mail address and password to securely login to any healthcare app that uses the NHS login service, so it’s important that the NHS can verify it’s you.
