Zero-Contact Delivery

Please read Phlo's current secure delivery process, in place to meet with Covid-19 containment measures.

Updated over a year ago

In response to the increasing measures enforced to contain cases of Covid-19, Phlo Digital Pharmacy will be operating under new, zero-contact, delivery processes.

Moving forward, until further notice, in coalition with our delivery partner Gophr our secure delivery process will include:

  • delivering parcels on or near the door step

  • alerting the patient via doorbell/similar

  • using the recommended social distancing which consists of maintaining at least a six foot distance between the patient and the delivery driver

  • the delivered signature will be from the driver and not the patient which will confirm the parcel has been delivered to the correct person at the desired address

  • the delivery driver will confirm the name and address with patient and view ID where possible from a safe distance

  • the pharmacy team will follow-up each delivery with a courtesy call to confirm the delivery

  • patients are advised to discard packaging immediately and ideally wash their hands with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds

  • if patients are not able to wash their hands, they are advised to use a hand sanitiser, which contains at least 60% alcohol, before and after taking their medication

  • patients are also advised to avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands and take precautionary measure where possible.
